November 2021: West Africa

Welcome to a glimpse of my life as an Evangelist! 

This month I traveled with 85 fellow Christ for all Nations Bootcamp Evangelists as we entered West Africa! This is a massive undertaking as 22 field leaders, 22 pastors, 22 counselors, 22 van drivers, 44 interpreters, 44 security men, and 11 Gospel truck drivers joined together to go 22 separate ways to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Just this week alone I have seen thousands of decisions for Christ along with too many healings to count! None of this would be possible without your prayer and financial support. From the bottom of my heart, I give thanks to you for believing in me and supporting the call of God on my life. 

Every morning our team begins the day with worship and prayer before we hit the marketplaces, schools, and streets.  We prepare our hearts and position ourselves in the right posture, as a servant, before we preach the Gospel! I have preached to children and adults both young and old. The people of Africa are beautiful and I consider it an honor to be here living life with these precious people created in God's Image.   

After our morning devotional time, we are divided into small teams where we are given our assignments for the day. Each day we make 6-10 stops at different locations--schools, marketplaces, streets, or villages. Friends, the harvest is ripe! I have witnessed hundreds upon hundreds of people begging for prayer and asking questions to learn more about Jesus. Often times I have returned back to the hotel with a hoarse voice because I have exerted myself in sharing Gospel stories and prayer.  

 

Upon returning to the hotel, we gather together again to share testimonies and a team meal together. This is a time for us to reflect and celebrate all the Lord has done. We laugh and we cry, together. We are an army of warriors with only one goal in mind--to know Jesus and make Him known. We lay down our lives to spread the Good News!

Testimony Time: Just today as my team and I went back out into the mission field to do kid crusades we saw over 4,000 children not only give their lives to Jesus, but also get touched by the Holy Spirit. There are many schools, many souls in need of the Lord, and only so many laborers or support to send us. Matthew 9:37-38 says, "Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” Partner with me as we change the world for generations to come!

What's Next? I have two more weeks in West Africa on my initiation trip.  The final week will consist of a massive open-air crusade where Evangelist Daniel Kolenda will be preaching at what is expected to be the largest Gospel Crusade in the WORLD, EVER! Millions of people will attend this event and encounter Jesus. After this Africa trip, I will head back to Orlando, Florida where I will graduate from the Christ for all Nations Evangelism Bootcamp! Just this week it was announced that I have been accepted to join CfAN in their next upcoming Decapolis Gospel Crusade Campaign in Africa. This is where there will be several crusades going on simultaneously in 5 different cities! This internship will give me an opportunity to learn how to do in-depth crusade organizing, behind the scenes, alongside experienced Evangelists who have traveled the world. With this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, I will need to raise support for travel expenses. I’m believing that between GOD, you, and me, we can do this financially, TOGETHER!.
